- The quality and source matters
- When you eat matters
- Of course taste matters
It is clear burning your food is a bad idea. Even cooking it too long can be a problem because it can damage the nutrients. It can also cause more free radicals to form. Free radicals can damage your DNA and lead to premature aging. They also can increase your risk for cancer. Slow cooking, low heat or even in raw is the way to go if you want the most out of you food.
Some studies have suggested that red meat causes cancer. However there is no mention of the quality of the meat. Whether if it antibiotic or hormone free, quality matters. Whether your meat is grass-fed or grain feed it affects the quality and nutrient value of the food.
How you cook food matters and is often overlooked.
Healthy food doesn’t have to taste like grass, tree bark or be flavorless. You can have flavorful tasty meals that add to your health by adding energy & nutrients
